The Oceanolgy Course at Stonington High School consists of two parts, Oceanology I in the Fall Semester and Oceanology II in the Spring Semester.  Oceanology I will cover topics surrounding Physical Oceanography including waves, currents, tides, and geology.  We will also explore some weather occurrences, navigation of the ocean, iceberg tracking and oil spills.  Oceanology II will explore Marine Biology including all marine organisms, zonation of the ocean, and exploration of the deep sea.  Click on the information you are looking for on the box on the left.
